MiniSIS is Dowslake's subsystem platform. Based on a compact
1RU 19' rack-mount structure, Dowslake adds network management
and Ethernet interface to optical modules, through multiple universal
and hot-swappable cards capable of hosting up to 12 optical amplifiers,
or a mix-and-match of diverse modules. Standard network management
interface with options of RS232, TL1 or SNMP, standard system
backplane, standard plug-in cards, together with a wide selection
of optical modules, by Dowslake or by a 3rd party, make the MiniSIS
