DCM | Dispersion Compensation Module For 10G Traffic

Main Features
| Based on negative dispersion compensation fiber technology,
| G.652/G.655 Fiber for C-band 100% Slope Compensation
| Low Insertion Loss
| Low Polarization Dispersion
| Passive standalone 1U chassis

Dispersion Compensation Module(DCM) is based on negative dispersion optical fiber, which is special designed to compensate the dispersion of current G.652& G.655 optical fiber link. For 10Gbps optical transmission system, DCM is need to carry out the dispersion compensation and make sure that the total dispersion of the whole optical fiber link is not too high. For example, 10G traffic running on G652 fiber, single wavelength or DWDM system, if link length is longer than 80km, DCM module is needed to make sure optical link total dispersion is less than the dispersion of 80km G652 fiber. DCM is massive deployed for 10G optical fiber transmission system.

Dowlake DCM is a passive standalone 1U chassis, it max can compensate the dispersion of 120km G652 fiber. If the compensation link length is less than 40km, pluggable card for our CMS1025V series cassis also is available, occupy one slot of CMS1025V chassis. The dispersion length of DCM can be customized.
